Presentations
One of the activities in this course is making a presentation. This cannot be done in teams.
There is no particular format for the presentation; you can discuss whatever you want. The "goal" of the presentation is simply for you to get some experience doing this in English, which is something you will probably have to do sometime in your professional life.
The only "rule" in regard to the presentation is that you have to speak between ten and thirteen minutes. If you show a movie or play some music this doesn't count as "speaking time", and your presentation has to be longer. PLEASE don't make the entire "show" longer than fifteen minutes.
Usually a business presentation involves some kind of visuals (images). If you want to do this, fine, but it's not necessary. I would rather hear good English than see pretty images.
Possible themes for the presentation include:
your field of study
a product
a company
your favorite music, sport, etc.
a vacation you've taken or would like to take
Berlin
the TU
a website you maintain or like
